Taxonomy terms

Design / sound or visual installations, performances,
graphical experiments, perceptions, videos, printed
or engraved photographs become archive documents.
I use them personally as a database. Through its form,
editing makes it possible for me to conceive my research
work in another way. They are made at author’s expenses.

micro [ scopie ] édition (do.space) 2021

Presentation of the book published on the occasion of the artist’s exhibitions in the private space for contemporary art Kamer Negen/ K9, Rixensart and the A.Galerie, Brussels in 2022.

The leporello edition contains: writings/ drawings, photography of a performance by the artist Dominique Vermeesch (do.space), text by François Delvoye, anthropologist + a 7" vinyl of four titles in collaboration with daniel duchamP.

Litho-photography - 40 copies printed by (do.space) on the presses of Atelier Bruno Robbe in Frameries.

The extraordinary thing is to reinvent oneself, to find
another position in the universe. One way to do it is
to build a sound and visual biotope. I am delivering
this space like my body to get it dissolved in the world.

Two women with plural identity record the depth
of their bodies. Their intimate interiorities are being
explored with a camera, writings and sound recordings.
The body and its ultra-sensory perceptions are
simultaneously tools and receptacles-laboratories.
The world of these two women is voice-recorded and
then mixed. Their identities are like communicating
vessels, it is the birth of a network with meeting points
and divergences. The recordings are performed in real
or virtual places that are carriers of meditative
experiences, such as the philosophical garden
of the Museum of Erasmus House (Curator Alexandre
Vanautgaerden, Brussels), a painting of the Italian 17th Century, a text of Marguerite Duras ...
The granular sounds extracted from a conversation are close to a proto-language. Their acousmatic broadcasts form an "extra-ordinary" biotope and the ether which is dispersing in it becomes art.

as part of the exhibitions at the Béguinage of the Erasmus House in Anderlecht and at the church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste-au-Béguinage in Brussels, organised by Delvoyeurs, curated by François Delvoye.

The cover "Les Soeurs Noires" has been chosen to appear in a special edition inside the best belgian record sleeves.
The book, "Belgium: The Vinyl Frontier pt.2" written by Ben Van Alboom and Francis Weyns was published by ed. Borgerhoff & Lamberigts.
At the same time, an exhibition takes place in Oostende, Fort-Napoléon till Septembre 15 / 2016.
