This is what I’m introducing in my performances: a little of “being” + a part of an organ + an “x”-civilization + a soul + some parasite in the eye + an act created “under X” (= unrevealed author) + an awareness + a self-abandonment + (d£.space) + a grace + an enjoyment

Is life a vision ? My voice is the sound spectrum
of my vision, the life that spreads. Are women verbal ? They are "trance-mission". Is sound granular ? Sound disarticulates language,
the voice is mixed and remixed until it is no more to identify, until I am no more to be identified;
it is at the brim of the audible. Bone, air, violence.
It is only in the stability of life that I can renew.
For example when life is confusing I can become just a voice.

Everything acts upon everything. In the philosophical path of Simone Weil, my body -perception, transforma- tionalspace, is that of a tinted ⟷ tingling vibration of the universe. From this interaction, is born an inner voice articulated in words - tones, and touched- blurred by things of this world. Anthropocene, harnessed to anterior and neo - contemporary signs: my soul- interiority, and foundation of the sound language of this work, becomes sensor, transmitter, animal, cave, extinctions, hard disk, stellar clusters, waves from Valentina Terech- kova, all inseparable from a contact writing. When I’m designing, I incorporate personal documents, newspaper articles, books and technology into my working files. I associate them, mixing and glueing them. The broadcast can be an audio or visual one. The whole thing forms a timeless, never fixed and multi-versions installation. The elements contained in the arrangement move from one research to another. It is an eternal beginning, transformation, death, and rebirth. It is part of a nomadic thinking, of a concept of language that sticks to my own life. Only the document memorises with or without sound.

Any contact and perception between me and life must be tried and invented.
While creating, my body becomes a sensor. With my body, I can perceive in a " transorganic " way what surrounds me.
I also use any other object that allows me - beyond the traditional networks - to capture life. For example, I can drag a micro-sensor on
my skin and listen to an event of the world that spreads through my cells.
Perceptions are pushed to the extreme of
the human perception senses. My eyes can touch
a stranger's hand tattooed with blood; my cheek can experience political violence in Libya.
When perceptions appear, I record them by camera shooting, audio recording, graphic notes.

Dominique Vermeesch (do.space) works and develops his questions through notation-drawing-phonics, photography, video including his own body, particularly during performances which offer the opportunity for a mystical encounter with these waves that she watches, with this body as a place of inscription of the world, of history. Troubled body vector of its work but not in a fixed way, like a tattoo, but via sound-tactile waves as a transient vibration. Her questions are in fact at the center of the vast network of works, links and meanings that she sets up. His work, called "contact language", must be approached as a whole, in continual expansion, in systematic questioning. In addition to her creation of drawings, her art is based on classification, archival work that she uses today in her own way, exploring the history and philosophy of the themes that are dear to her, mixing existing documents with her works, constructing in this way a world of dialogues of texts, sounds and images, from different eras, from different cultures. We come across Hannah Arendt, Patti Smith, Simone Weil, Donna Haraway, as well as images of the cosmos and everything relating to creation, the body, and all their mythologies. François Delvoye

Eyes shut, I penetrate my own being. I open and enter myself.
The sensations I am feeling are instantly captured on a sound tapping device and sent to the loudspeakers.
The voice comes out of the body and the speakers and overwhelms me. The universe, as well as some documents relating to the experience, is installed on a table, they are used to disseminate any mnesic occurrence.

I have installed twelve sound canvasses on structures, twelve drawings that broadcast text overlapping in a continuum.
On a table I have placed a monitor and archive documents.
The sound contains questionings, sensations / perceptions of the act of conception.
The texts come from experiences of contact with the depth of my being.

My daughter’s face - a musician / poet nicknamed "The Plastic Strawberries Need Stitches", she took part in the "Hamadryan” performance presented at Musée Félicien Rops in Namur. It is a "face" that moves and changes. Her lives settle and move out of me. She is a woman evolving by 300°.

all operate my breath. That’s where everything is.

I have designed a tribute to Lee Miller, a woman photographer, in the form of a slideshow on the basis of archive pictures. The life of Lee Miller is a creation, her life is her work. In this tribute, image after image, I open a photographed life, the one of my life as a design.

I feel the warmth of my blood, I can capture moments of my life. I’m becoming just a vision. The shot experience becomes a document.
The picture is circulated. It settles into
the dwelling place where the action took place
and appears in other experimental situations.

I have found these hearts from the Boyadjian collection in the reserve of the Museum of Louvain-la-Neuve. I have included them in various experiments : Photos, videos, performance…. When I touched these hearts, I was touching rebirths, beats, loves. My body has retained the vision of this picture, and ever since a kind of excrescence has grown in myself. I have many hearts, many lives.

The extraordinary thing is to reinvent oneself, to find

Verbal work accompanies my research on the plastical transformation of the being, of it is mutation and fiction. The sound environment
(or : acoustic panorama) is activated by a voice derivation that destabilises and sends the mnesic sound perception back to an extratemporaneous dimension.

A microphone, a rubber lab tube, neon lights,
a lab glass instrument, a terracotta lamb feeding bottle. Melancholy, a painting reproduction of Domenico Fetti. A man’s rib, a sound sensor, earphones. Mary Magdalene, a painting by Domineco Fetti. I’m collecting all the documents representing her to better visualise the identity impact on women’s history. When I introduce them in my experiments, it seems to me that she lives anywhere out of the time. Mary Magdalena is in the off-painting.

Influenced by Merleau-Ponty’s work, I have applied a few personal experiences from his phenomenology of perception. Through the applications, I have realised that my being was a sensitive plate. I was bio-seismic. I am the material of my art, a place of gestation and hence of action. Here, like in other works, I’m pursuing performative actions specific to female artists and writers before me, for example Carolee Schneemann in the seventies.

1999. Modifications
Hannah Arendt’s writings have been particularly interesting to me from the point of view of human thought, they helped me follow a thought of life that clung closely to my art. Almost everyday, her works are present in what I’m experiencing and what I’m living. "Concept of Love", as this experience might be titled is focused on her thesis on the "Concept of love in Augustine." This approach is "one" of the vision of her thought: I’m enclosing in it mutation, transmission, and renewed beginnings. A sound design.

Two women with plural identity record the depth
of their bodies. Their intimate interiorities are being
explored with a camera, writings and sound recordings.
The body and its ultra-sensory perceptions are
simultaneously tools and receptacles-laboratories.
The world of these two women is voice-recorded and
then mixed. Their identities are like communicating
vessels, it is the birth of a network with meeting points
and divergences. The recordings are performed in real
or virtual places that are carriers of meditative
experiences, such as the philosophical garden
of the Museum of Erasmus House (Curator Alexandre
Vanautgaerden, Brussels), a painting of the Italian 17th Century, a text of Marguerite Duras ...
The granular sounds extracted from a conversation are close to a proto-language. Their acousmatic broadcasts form an "extra-ordinary" biotope and the ether which is dispersing in it becomes art.

An oral and written version of correspondence.
I have verbalised or transcribed a sequence of words reflecting the idea of "one" of the feminisms. These words were exchanged through correspondence with Véronique Danneels.
They are engraved in the video and recorded on a minidisk and subsequently burned onto cd for oral transmission.

I have participated in the most difficult and violent experience. A social-political-artistic project. It was on women, prostitution, and love. The three of us, we have disjointed art and our lives by creating our own language. Sound Design: Three CD players. Three headphones. Two photos. Research conducted as part of the Neon-Nord, Art and Prostitution. Title: Woman in Blue.

I am “de-working” my own being to rebuild it: it is an action. The photographs of this performative action are put into circulation, thereby creating other versions.

I have put on a table, a microphone, a book by Simone Weil and the universe. Then I recorded a piece of text by Simone Weil on “decreation”. By transmitting his thought, I was questioning my creation. Everything seemed so empty, yet everything was there.

Internal contacts, intimate notes are spoken aloud and broadcast in public in a valuable reserve.
I’m diffusing "feelings" troubles, silences, existential questions, pertaining to pregnancy and conception. Using a light table and a screen showing archive footage.

To utter the invisible in my being, I have created a variety of prototypes that make my thoughts,
my tactile memory and my soul visible. It is a visionary echography of my being. Intimate notes associated with graphite pencil drawings are placed on light structures, they appear and disappear and then continue in loops.

I archive faces. I undo them. I transform history, of faces, of my art. I undo my movement, my voice. I work with signs, clues, icons: crosses, numbers, pieces of lines, erasures. I work with waves,
sound layers: acoustic loops, stutterings, saturations. I want that language gets lost, be absent, gets empty. I want the void to be a language. Powerlessness.

In this experiment, I put myself in my own unconscious. This is the place the brunt of my being. I was soaked in blood. I felt as close to birth than to death. I was giving birth to myself and at the same time, I was forcing myself.
The diaporama projected images follow one another in a sequence of appearances and disappearances in a continuous loop.
